Rachelle Krieger, Imagining the Interconnectedness of All Things (2013), Oil and Graphite on Board, 54 x 96 inches
ROCKS AND RAYS
New Paintings by Rachelle Krieger
September 8 – October 29, 2015 | Opening Reception: September 10, 2015
NYC
Rachelle Krieger's recent paintings reflect the dynamic yet invisible forces of nature that shape our world
My most recent work is a reflection of the forces of nature that connect and impact us, and shape our world: oceanic currents, storms, solar wind, radiation, space weather, bursts of charged particles, and magnetic fields. The recent paintings are an ode to Mother Earth and our environment, and a correlation between art and science. They are explorations of natural patterns and systems that are intertwined and in constant motion.
